Art is my sanity
It helps to ground me and to balance out the various parts of my life.
I love working with colour and texture. My current art journey is through semi-abstract painting and mixed media, with a focus on birds-eye view and landscapes. I often use photographs from my travels as my starting point / inspiration even though the end result rarely matches the photo! I never know quite where the painting will lead me through its journey to the finish-point…
Please have a look at my work on the various pages of my website. All work that is for sale is labelled with the price. Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested in any of the work. I also take private commission requests.
Checkout my ‘Abstracts and Landscapes’ page for my new paintings. I reorganised my studio over the Christmas/New Year break and am having heaps of fun playing with some new canvases and new techniques
Planning is underway for a group exhibition in October 2019 at Aspire Gallery. Watch this space for more information
“Celebrating Colour and Friendship” Exhibition
In 2017 I participated in a group exhibition with my lovely arty friends, Debbie Wiggan, Janine Freeman, and Gela-Marie. The exhibition was called “Celebrating Colour and Friendship” and was held at Aspire Gallery at 53 Kennedy Tce, Paddington.
Aspire Gallery has regular exhibitions that change every fortnight. Gallery hours are Wednesday – Saturday from 10.30am – 4.30pm.
Thankyou to everyone who supported our exhibition and helped to make it a lovely success. And thankyou to Donagh, Lindsay and Irene from Aspire Gallery for your support and advice and for helping to take the stress out of holding the exhibition.
